Hop Pole - Bar Design
This was an existing Bath Ales pub where trade remained weak despite an excellent new management team. The key aims of the bar design process were to brighten the main bar, without destroying the traditional and cosy feel.
Operational room at the bar had to be created for a coffee station to suit the day trade, the back bar needed rationalising and the chef wanted to create display room for the "made on the premises" pickels.
Restaurant Design
The dining room at the rear was extremely unpopular, physically separated from the front bar it lacked identity, it was dark with heavy furniture and was a real stumbling block to trade; The aim of the restaurant design process was to lighten the general decoration and add a simple function bar featuring the floor tiles that have been so popular at Graze. To complete the restaurant design we found some fantastic lino prints by trevor Hadrell which have been highlighted by the Original BTC wall lamps that also add a splash of colour.
