Aqua - Restaurant Design

Following the success of Aqua Clifton Simple Simon were asked to implement a new restaurant design at the original Aqua waterside location to coincide with the new menu and “Italia” rebranding.

There was a deliberate attempt to introduce the new restaurant design palette from the Whiteladies site, but to give it a twist that complimented the more contemporary low ceilinged space, and ensured that each site had a unique identity. The bar was clad in shell and pearl mosaic, and a new marble bar top added, to the rear the same slivers of mirror enlivened the restaurant design for the back bar display.

Restaurant Design Details  

A new room divider was fabricated from walnut and polished steel to create a more defined barrier between the bar and dining areas that none less allowed light through and maintained views from one area to the other. As part of the restaurant design a backlit voile was hung to soften the glazed wall that had previously overlooked a carpark, and bespoke wallpaper was installed of the Sienna landscape to underline the new Italian theme.
