Boof - Restaurant Design

Boof takes it’s name from the French word “Bouffe” meaning “Grub”. The brand identity design was key to the concept as Boof has to sit alongside some of the largest brands in the market within the new St Davids shopping centre in Cardiff. Oversized illuminated signs were used to maximise the impact on passing trade and to stand out from other offerings.

Casual Dining Design Details

The client wanted a contemporary interior rather than a ‘French’ one, so as not to emulate other high street brands. Ther restaurant design scheme uses projectors playing classic new wave french films draws people's attention.

Simple Simon completed all of the restaurant design work before managing the installation to meet the exacting standards required by the Cardiff St David’s centre. The clients' are planning the roll-out of this concept over the coming year.
