Yate was our second design for Nando’s; a new build development on the outskirts of Bristol.
The brief was to design a complex space, emphasising the Nando’s Heritage and brand offering.
As with every design the challenge was to bring new design elements across all aspects of the interior. Determining the best use of space and maximising the amount of covers achievable was also a design consideration, as well as adding visual presence from the exterior. Lighting, signage, texture, patterns and colour were carefully deliberated throughout.
The Nando’s Heritage is reflected in the bold African patterns, colours and lighting used throughout. With the site being an empty shell we used texture to add height, depth and atmosphere to the space whilst considering the functional demands of the services. Bespoke lighting creates zoned areas with a combination of fixed and loose seating for flexible dining.
