Beerd

We're really pleased to introduce Beerd, Bristol's first craft beer venue. Serving a range of 9 chilled guest beers from tap on the back bar, and a constantly changing range of 6 cask beers on the front bar. The bar sells fantastic pizzas made from lovingly sourced ingredients including flour from Molino Caputo in Naples, and a great range of charcuterie supplied by Antica Macelleria Falorni. Our personal favourite nibbles are the homemade pork scratchings, followed by the Padron peppers, the Russian roulette of bar snacks.

The bar is the brainchild of our good friends at Bath Ales for whom we've previously completed projects at Graze, the Hop Pole, as well as the Wellington and Salamander. Bath Ales were quick to spot the fast developing craft beer market which has to date been led by the US as well as some exciting new venues in London and Scotland. The name Beerd is obviously a bit of a tongue in cheek reference to the old stereotypical real ale drinker, and the bar has been very deliberately designed to appeal to a new age of Beer enthusiasts. To enable customers to sample as many of the beers as possible, they're sold in pints, halves and the new 1/3rd measure too, enabling impoverished designers to stand at the bar with the glazed look of wonder like a child in a sweet shop, and sample everything on the menu. We hope it's going to be a huge success.
