Banging Bangor

We've recently completed the design work for a new venue for our friend Nick in North Wales. This time he's teamed up with friends Pete and Ryan to open an all day (and late night) food and drink venue that's going to be called Oscars.
The site was previously a run down and very dark night venue known as the Ship Inn, but it's been totally pulled apart, a new kitchen has been added, along with a managers flat.
Inside the space has been subdivided into a mainly wet bar downstairs with poseur height banquette seats, while upstairs a bistro area has been created with a new glazed lantern roof to maximise the natural light.
To the front of the building the old windows have been replaced with new sashes and the double height ceiling has been retained to create a light and airy lounge dining room. There's about a month of building left, but Bangor's not going to know what's hit it.
